HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY HAPPY TO SEE MARCH AND THE FIRST DAY OF SPRING ON THE 20TH!!!
This winter has been challenging - we will prevail and there is light at the end of the proverbial snow tunnel!!
March 21st is National Quilting Day - a day to celebrate quilts and those who make them. The quilt, as we know it in America, was originally a strictly utilitarian article, born of the necessity of providing warm covers for beds. Quilts were also used as hangings for doors and windows to keep out the cold. This has been a year to appreciate the warmth our quilts provide!
Footprints will be celebrating the event with food, beverage, a free gift and merchandise specials. You can find the 2015 National Quilt Day free project here.
Happy Spring! Kelly
