FOOTPRINTS QUILT SHOPPE January Newsletter HAPPY NEW YEAR! I have made several resolutions for 2015 and invite you all to join me in making these resolutions a priority in 2015! 1.  Take time to enjoy every day 2.  Try new things 3.  Laugh 4.  Surround yourself with those who enhance your life We control our own happiness and contentment - may we all find both in 2015! Instead of Saturday Sampler we will be offering Buck A Block this year. This gives participants the entire month to find time to visit the shop to be able to receive their block for one dollar!  The rules can be found here.  Sign up early so you don't miss out - limited number of spots available. LOCAL QUILT SHOP DAY is Saturday 1/24/15 Save the date to ensure you will have time to attend our event. There will be food, giveaways and specials.

The Simple Whatnots Club kits are being cut and packaged now.  I have a great quilter assembling all the samples.  I love the color and fabrics in Kim Diehl's new line Heritage Hollow!  For club details click here.  First club meeting for this second collection is Saturday, February 21st 1-3pm. HANDWORK CLUB The project choices give us an opportunity to slow down and enjoy the process as much as the result.  This is not only a back-to-basics club but a place to strengthen our skills and create positive relationships with each other.  Slow Sewing is coming back to the forefront in this fast paced world - let's slow down, breathe and create together.  More info here. FACEBOOK Janet's Tote Our first project class of the year is this large tote.  A girl can never have too many bags!  The tote measures 13" x 17" x 7".  Our sample is made in Northcott's Stonehenge fabric. Class fee is $25.00, pattern purchase required. 1/31/15    10:30-3:30

A great way to start off the new year would be with sharp scissors! T reat yourself and get all your favorites sharpened.  Drop off by the 24th and we will have them ready for pick up on the 31st.  Kevin Kelley from Wicked Sharp will be our sharpener.
