APRIL NEWSLETTER

Even though the March weather has not been ideal, it went by quickly and I'm so looking forward to Spring!

have been open on Hanson Street for six months now - hard to believe it's been that long.  I am consistently getting new customers thanks to those who are passing the word.  The best advertising is word of mouth!
We have received two new collections that are bright and springlike - I expect two more from MODA to arrive this week.  Swing in soon to check them out.

The classes continue to bring old and new acquaintances together to laugh and create. My blog is updated regularly so check it often for information on classes and clubs.  I have a Facebook page as well and post frequently - like us to stay up-to-date on what's happening at the Shoppe!

A new "Block of the Month" (BOM) begins in April and goes to December.  This is great for new/intermediate sewers.  The quilt is composed of 36 - 9 inch blocks which offers 18 different patterns.  There is an optional monthly meeting offered the first Thursday of the month.  Attending will hopefully keep you motivated to complete this "old feel" quilt.  Check the blog for a picture, however, seeing it in person is always better.  The sign up fee is $15.00 with monthly fee of $10.00. You will receive the sashing/border and cornerstone fabric with month 9.  The only things to purchase separately are the binding, batting and backing.
Hope you can join us!

The next "Stitchery of the Month" (SOM) starts in May - there are only a couple openings left.  This will have an optional monthly meeting offered the third Thursday of the month - you can choose a time that  meets your schedule 10-12pm or 6-8pm.

I offer customized classes for those wanting to learn a new skill or have a particular daunting project - minimum of three people.  My classroom can be booked for a nominal fee during closed hours if you are looking for some sewing time with your peeps!

I hope you all enjoyed Easter with family and friends!
God Bless
Kelly
